Challenge

Clalit is the largest of Israel's state-mandated health service organizations. The client sought to develop a user-friendly healthcare app to enhance the monitoring and management of medical care for its users.

The primary focus of the project was to create a seamless and intuitive experience, with a specific emphasis on improving the process of booking appointments.

The goal was to make it easier for users to access remote medical services and ensure clear and easy-to-understand information.

Process

Research insights were crucial in identifying user pain points and expectations. Through user interviews, surveys, and analysis of existing app feedback, it was revealed that users struggled with various tasks such as booking appointments, submitting clinic requests, viewing test results, and checking pharmacy stocks. Users expressed frustration with complex navigation and a lack of intuitive features. These insights guided the design strategy to address these challenges and improve the overall user experience.

Design Strategy

The design strategy prioritized simplicity, intuitive navigation, and clear communication of medical information for a user-centered app. Targeting families and adults interested in health services, key principles included easy Appointment Booking, a clear section for services on the Home Screen, and transparency on Doctor Cards.

Visual Design

The visual design phase focused on creating an aesthetically pleasing interface that aligned with the organization's brand identity while ensuring usability.
I employed a clean and modern visual style, using a calming color palette, legible typography, and intuitive iconography. Visual cues were used to guide users through the app, enhancing the overall user experience.
